TAYLOR
I am looking for descendants of Scott and Clara Taylor who lived most of their adult life in Oswego, Labette County. They had sons Ray, Wayne, and Merle. I have access to a family Bible with records and old family photos, some in tin-type. The owners of this Bible want it to be returned to its family. It was left in a house that a friend bought.
If anyone knows descendants of these people, please contact me.

My father was born in Edna (?) Kansas in 1875. His father was Peter Zealand Goodwin and mother was Phoebe Robertson (or Robinson) Goodwin. They came to the area from Kentucky, probably between 1873 and 1875. His mother died when Daddy was born and Peter did remarry. I would be interested in any information you have. Family included Eli, Florence, Sally, Eliza, Fanny, and America. It's been a while since I've looked at any of this, so don't remember everyone.
I am looking for information
on my Great Grandfather Lemuel Thomas Dazey born 28 Nov 1874 in Oswego, Labette,
Kansas, I think. His parents were William Wallace Dazey, b. 9 Jul 1847 and Ellen
Lucy Dazey, b. 6 Feb 1856. I am working on a Mayflower application and therefore
am looking for proof of Lemuel's birth. I have seen him listed as Oswego and
Richland, Labette, Kansas. Any help you could provide would be greatly
appreciated.

MILLER MUELLER BOETTCHER
Looking for relatives of Herman Miller. In 1939, Herman was living in Mound Valley, Kansas (Labette County). This is noted in his brother’s, Fred C. Miller, obituary. Fred, Herman, Henry, John, William, Charles and Minnie were the children of Charles and Marie (Boettcher) Miller. Charles (aka Carl Mueller) and Marie were born in Trept am Tollenz Prussia Strausberg Germany. Herman was born about 1868 in Chicago. Fred C. was born in 1866. Their family moved to Dieterich, Effingham County, IL in 1871 from Chicago. I am the granddaughter of Fred C. and Anna (Kolkmeier) Miller. Would appreciate hearing from a relative.
BATES DAY
I am looking for Karl Houseweart, Mary Houseweart, and there son, Mark. I know all three are deceased. Karl & Mary were from McCune, KS and I am not sure where Mark was when he died. I think Maine. Can you help me with there birthdates and date of death.
BEATTY
Searching for my great great grandmothers parents. I have an idea but still a few questions. Mary Ann Shoemaker died on March 24, 1922 at the home of her son Emmett Shoemaker. She died in Chetopa, Kansas but was buried next to her husband in Lockwood Mo. Since there is no one I know of the family left .I want to complete this side of my family. My grandmother was Lula Shoemaker, Emmett's sister, and my dad her only son was killed in the line of duty when I was 5 so discussions about that side of the family were null. So anyway if you have an idea for this question I would appreciate it.

information on his death or reason for being there would be most
helpful.

DECKER BIEHLER DIEBOLD
In 1910 Aloise and Martin Decker, from Coffey county took a trip
back home to Blodelsheim, Alsace, France to visit family. Both men
and
another brother Xavier came to America in 1872-82. A sister Mary
Kerbs also came over and settled in Shelby Co. Indiana.
On their trip back to America in 1910 the Decker brothers brought
two nephews with them. One boy was their sister Theresa's son
whose last name was Biehler. The other was their sister Rose's son
whose name was Joe Diebold. He stayed in America and settled
in Parsons Kansas. I found a Joseph Diebold (dob 17-Jun-85)
listed on the 1917-18 alien list. I am sure this is our
relative. Also saw a Joe and Robert Diebold registered in the WWII
conflict.(Sons?) Joseph kept contact with his uncles and he and his
wife attend Martin's funeral in 1942 at Burlington KS.
I am searching for any information I can find on the Joseph Diebold
family.
