Lincoln County has included many small towns and communities over the years. In the days of early settlements, neighborhoods took on names of their own. Some of those names can be traced to the many post offices that dotted the county at the time; the origins of others we may never know.
This page – a work in progress – is a gathering of articles about the neighborhoods, small towns and ghost towns that make up the history of Lincoln County. More stories can be found about these communities on the Lincoln County Kansas Churches page.
If you have newspaper articles or other information about small towns or neighborhoods within the county you would like to share with other researchers, please contact Tracee Hamilton.
