The 1880 Federal Census lists my Great-Grandfather, Charles STUNTEBECK and his family as farming there. Image Source: Roll: Y9_388, Family History Film: 1254388; Page: 82B; Enumeration Dist: 252; Image 0167. It appears that they lived there only a short time, my best guess is from 1879 to 1884. In 1884 they went to Minnesota. During the time they lived there, one of their twin sons died. I do not know his proper name as it is unreadable on the census. However, he was the twin brother of my Grandfather, Charles STUNTEBECK, Jr. I would like to try to get a copy of his death certificate. If anyone can tell me what this name is on the census, and where Doyle was located, I would appreciate it. Doyle is no longer listed on the Kansas state map, so I am assuming it's a ghost town. ------------------------------------ PAULOVICH...LENTZ OBLAK...SVITAK Brian Parks (gtiboy16v@cox.net) 8 February 2004 I am trying to find information on some family members who lived in or around Pilsen, Kansas in the late 1800s to early 1900s.
