The very last thing I have on her is a letter from her sister, Etta WEESNER...(my grandmother)...in July 1944. G'Ma WEESNER wrote to my mother that Aunt Emma was real sick. G'ma died in July 1947 and Aunt Emma was not listed as a survivor. Aunt Emma was born about 1860s. She apparently lived in or somewhere around Chanute at the time. We have checked with Funeral Homes in Chanute...no luck. I wrote to vital statistics in Topeka...no luck...also wrote to vital stats in Oklahoma, Texas, Missouri, Illinois and Arkansas...also no luck. I am convinced that she probably was living in some small town around Chanute...died...and a local "undertaker" buried her without reporting it to the State. ----------------------------- STRACK Bob Strock (bostrock@zoominternet.net) 23 September 2005 The 1910 Chanute, Neosho Co Census contains Jacob STRACK wife Emma and son William.
