Obituary of CLARA B. (PRINDLE) HOYT |
Death of Mrs. W. D. Hoyt Mrs. Clara B. Hoyt, wife of Wm. D. Hoyt, died at her hone in this city Thursday, March 21, at 2:15 a.m., aged 67 years, 11 months and 17 days. Mrs. Hoyt has not been well for the past two years, but on last Saturday she was taken down suddenly, and continued to grow worse until her death. She was a faithful member of the Presbyterian church and during her long residence in Larned has made many friends. She served as a nurse during the Civil war. She leaves her husband and one son, Wm. Hoyt, of Arkansas City, who is expected to arrive tonight. The funeral will be held from the Presbyterian church tomorrow, Friday, at 10:30 a.m. Dr. Robt. Coltman will have charge of the services.
