Mrs. Ben Athey
TURON Flora K. Athey, 103, died Saturday at St.
John. Born Flora K. Potter Sept. 7, 1876, at Douglas, she married Allen J.
Kay in 1896. He died in 1897. She married Albert Creed in 1901. He died
in 1926. She married Ben Athey in 1928. He died in 1931.
She was a member of Turon Christian Church.
Survivors: half-daughters: Mrs. Wilmot O. Creed,
Turon; Mrs. George Kay, Douglas; two grandchildren; three
great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at the church;
the Rev. Don Rudicel. Burial will be 3 p.m. Monday at Douglas
Cemetery. Friends may call Sunday evening until service time at Foulk
Funeral Home, Turon.
