Mrs. Amelia Benedict

 

Mrs. Amelia Benedict, 80, widow of the late Charles C. Benedict, died suddenly at 7 o’clock last night at her home, 919 North Monroe st., from a heart attack.  She was seated in a chair at her home when she became ill.

Mrs. Benedict had been a resident of Hutchinson 25 years.  She was born Feb. 2, 1854, at Omro, iWs.  She was married to Charles C. Benedict at Great Bend in 1878.

For about 20 years prior to coming to Hutchinson the family lived at Nickerson.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. S. M. Layman of Kingman and Mrs. Edna Risley of Nickerson; and one son, D. E. H. Benedict, Newton.
