H. A. Easling, a well known and highly respected citizen of Clay township, died of dropsy yesterday afternoon at his home, about 6 miles southeast of town. Mr. Easling was 57 years of age and had spent twenty-five years of his life in Reno county. He leaves a wife and a daughter of 14 years to mourn his loss. He was a member of the Modern Woodmen lodge and his funeral will be conducted by that order. The funeral will be conducted tomorrow afternoon at 2 o’clock from the Clay Valley M. E. church, east of the city.
