Frank Gould Dies Monday- Well known character passes away- 

Frank Gould 76 years of age died at his home in Haven, Monday evening at 8:30 o'clock. he had been in poor health for several months.  For several years he was employed by the city as general utility man and later was given charge of the city pumps. 
Franklin Thomas Gould was born at Alton, Illinois on April
23, 1865. His parents were James and Sarah Gould. he came to Haven with his parents in the year 1870. However, the family soon returned to Illinois. Most of his boyhood days were spent at Quincy, Illinois. At about the turn of the century, almost forty years ago, he came to Haven again.  Some three years later, on June 29,, 1903 he was married to Mary Hiebert. He and his family then left Haven in 1914,spending four years in Missouri and another four years in Moundridge, Kansas. In 1922 he again moved to Haven, where he was made utility man for the city. He held this position until only a few years ago.
An infant child preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife, Mary Hiebert Gould and six children. Ellis Gould of the quartermaster corps, Fort Riley, Kansas, Mrs. Nettie Murphy, Alexandria, Missouri, Edward Gould, U.S. Navy, Corpus Christi , Texas, Mrs. Esther Hays, Robstown, Texas and Leonard and Robert of the home. Others surviving him are three brothers, David Gould of Wichita, J. Gould and Willard Gould of Detroit Mich., one sister Mrs. Nettie Edwards of Detroit, Mich., and five grandchildren.
In July 1939 he was received into membership of St. Paul's Lutheran church by the act of confirmation.  Funeral services for the departed will be held Friday afternoon at the Graham funeral home and interment will be at the Laurel cemetery. Pastor K. J. Karstensen will conduct the services.
