Rev. Floyd N. Griffin

Rev. Floyd N. Griffin, 54 of St. Francis, died Thursday afternoon in Grace Hospital in Hutchinson after a year's illness.

He was born July 1, 1907 in Mooreland, Okla. He was a member of the Pilgrim Holiness church and was at St. Francis several years.

Survivors are the widow, Mrs. Vivian Griffin, of the home; two sons, John O., 705 East 7th, and Dennis N., Peoria, Ill.; one daughter, Mrs. Verla Thompson, Ava, Okla.; two brothers, Charlie, Mooreland, Okla., and Gene, Roswell, N.M.; five sisters, Mrs. Iva Stout, Denver, Mrs. Eva Bowles, Hawthorne, Calif., Mrs. Velma Knosp, The Dalles, Ore.; Mrs. Beulah Phillips, Woodward, Okla., and Mrs. Lena Singleton, Wheaton, Ill.; and six grandchildren.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the Volkland Chapel with Revs. Howard Busby, Francis Hobbs and W. A. Strong officiating. Burial will be in Fairlawn Cemetery.
