FRANK "BUD" HUMISTON
  

INMAN - Frank "Bud" Humiston, 96, died June 3, 2000, at the Pleasant View Home, Inman.
  

He was born Jan. 4, 1904, at Huntsville, the son of Frank S. and Sallie Hickman Humiston.  A lifetime Hutchinson-area resident, he was employed by the former Jimmie Hayes Cleaners for 25 years and later by Dillon Companies, both at Hutchinson.  He retired in 1969.
  

On Aug. 18, 1929, he married Ruth Pauline Griggs at Sterling.  She died Dec. 11, 1972.

  

Survivors include:  two sons, Richard and James, both of Hutchinson;  a daughter, Sally Eubanks, Nickerson;  13 grandchildren;  and 27 great-grandchildren.
  

He was preceded in death by a son, William; two brothers, Ed and Hod;  and four sisters, Carrie Humiston, Maxine Humiston, Fern Hull and Anna Mae Byrd.
  

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Elliott Mortuary Chapel, Hutchinson, with the Rev. Paul L. Danner presiding.  Friends may call from 3 to 9 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. to noon Tuesday, both at the mortuary.  Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Hutchinson.
