Alva Allen McFarland - Nickerson Alva Allen McFarland, 89, died Sunday at Burley, Idaho. Born Aug. 25, 1888 at Burrton, he married Iva Ruth Lehman May 5, 1934 at Lyons. She died March 23, 1960. He was a retired Santa Fe stock clerk and lived here 30 years. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge No. 43, Nickerson; United Brethren Church. Survivors include son: Kay, Burley, Idaho; daughter; Mrs. John E. Markham, Route 5; brother: Howard J. 423 N. Plum; one grandchild; two great-grandchildren. Funeral will be 2 p.m. Thursday at the Gustafson-Lamb Funeral Home, Nickerson; Rev. LeRoy VanVerth. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Hutchinson. Friends may call 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and until service time Thursday at the funeral home.
