Clarence Joseph Morgan

Clarence Joseph Morgan 93, died April 8, 2003, at Buhler Sunshine Home, Buhler.

He was born Sept. 8, 1909, at Hutchinson, the son of Charles and Myrtle Carter Morgan. A lifetime resident of Hutchinson, he was the owner and operator of Morgan Rides at Carey Park, Hutchinson.

He was baptized in Grace Christian Church.

On Oct. 14, 1933, he married Murl Abernathy. She survives.

Other survivors include; three grandchildren; Linda D. Kollhoff, Hutchinson, Kimberly Kollhoff, Hutchinson, Kimberly K. Rogers, Colorado Springs, Colo., and Chad C. Morgan, five great-grandchildren; Adam and Amanda Higgins, and Morgan Kollhoff, all of Hutchinson, and Chris and Brad McDonough, both of Colorado Springs, Colo.

He was preceded in death by a son, Stanley Vance Morgan.

Graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Memorial Park Cemetery, Hutchinson. Visitation sill be from noon to 9 p.m. Wednesday and from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson, with the family receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the mortuary.

Memorials may be sent to Clarence J. Morgan Memorial Fund, in care of the mortuary.
