Alva Everett Osman--
Alva Everett Osman, 97, 122 East Carpenter, died
Saturday at the Reno County Adult Care Facility following a long illness.
Born Oct. 11, 1879 in Mason, Ill. His wife Alice E. died Dec. 10, 1952. He
was a retired restaurant
owner. He lived here since 1950.
He was a member of the South Hutchinson Christian Church.
Survivors include step-sons; Everett G. Roberts,
229 East 9th; Neil I. Roberts, Idaho falls, Idaho; daughter; Mrs. Edna
Dickson, Bethel Island, Calif; step-daughter; Mrs. Mary Louise Daugherty, 81
Random Road; sister; Mrs. Faye Vickery, Rockport, Tex.; 15 grandchildren; 26
great grandchildren.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Monday at Elliott Chapel;
Rev. Paul Hesser. Burial will be in Eastside Cemetery. Friends may call
until 10 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
