Opal Y. Ostrander, 83, formerly of 418 West 16th, died Sunday at Oakwood Villa following a lengthly illness.  She was born Jan. 16, 1896 at Wellington and came to Hutchinson in 1929 from Wichita.

She was an interior decorator for Graber’s for many years, retiring in 1970.  She was a member of the First Christian Church.

Funeral will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Elliott Chapel, Rev. Vern Greenhalgh.  There will be a graveside service at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Prairie Lawn Cemetery, Wellington,.  Friends may call at the chapel Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
