Henry H. Ukena
CHENEY Henry H. Ukena, 90, died
Tuesday at Kingman Community Hospital. Born Feb. 10, 1890,
at Pretty Prairie, he married Elizabeth Minnie Goeller March
4, 1912, at Enid, Okla. She died Aug. 2, 1965. He lived
here since 1957.
He was a member of trinity United
Church of Christ, Cheney.
Survivors: daughters; Mrs. Thelma
Roberts, Topeka; Mrs. Dorothy Brown, Mrs. Lois Marteney,
both of Cheney; five grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren;
one great-great-grandchild.
Funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Friday
at the church; the Rev. Ray Steakley, the Rev. Bob
Fleming. Burial will be at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Pretty
Prairie. Friends may call from 2 until 9 p.m. Wednesday and
Thursday at Livingston Mortuary, Kingman. Family suggests
memorials to the Cheney Senior Citizens Center.
