Codell, Rooks County, Kansas - Information Needed
There are several of us formerly and/or
presently, or had ties to Codell, Kansas, that are putting together a book of
Codell, to be ready for sale at our next
school reunion, 6 May, 2006.
We would like students names and year graduated
from the Codell Schools, (Example: Janice L. Simpson, Joleen K.
Casey and Michael Tucker attended 12 years together, at Codell Rural Schools
1951-1963.) short stories, short family history, memories, memorials, names of
graduates as some of the early names were lost in the cyclone era 1918.
We are also trying to put together a list of
United States Veterans that
lived in or near or went to
school in Codell.
What we would like is Name, Branch of
Service, and if he/she was in any of the wars, MIA, KIA, NON COMBAT ZONE but
serving during war time or serviced during peace time or active.
Examples: Daniel
Thurston UNION ARMY Civil War
Charles D.
Reading US NAVY Peace time.
Donald L.
Reading US AIR FORCE Active.
Lester
Simpson U.S. ARMY Veteran of World War II
