Alice Marie Lewis, 76, Hoxie, died Monday, Nov. 17, 2008, at Sheridan County Hospital, Hoxie. She was born Nov. 8, 1932, near Studley to Henry and Rachel Stithem Niblock. She married John Lewis on Nov. 15, 1952, in Hoxie. He preceded her in death May 4, 2005. She was a school bus driver.

Survivors include a son, Marty Lewis, two daughters, Carol Schlageck, and Tina Sanchez, a brother, Don Niblock, two sisters, Marge Dechant, and Mary Harris, seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by an infant son, Stephen.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Hoxie Christian Church; burial in Hoxie Cemetery.
