Dean L. Thomas, 80, Hoxie, died Tuesday, March 7, 2006, near Morland. He was born Dec. 20, 1925, near Hoxie, son of William Lee and Ada (Albers) Thomas. He was a farmer, drove a bus, for 18 years, and was a Sheridan County commissioner for 10 years. He married Sylvia Johnson on Oct. 19, 1958, in Colorado Springs, Colo.
Survivors include his wife, of the home; three daughters, Carolyn Thomas, Bonnie Galloway, and Linda Mecham, and seven grandchildren.
Burial in the Hoxie Cemetery.
