     This is an index of obituaries and marriages which have been collected since 1990.  We  do not know  the   newspapers from which these came from.  Most are local, but some are not.

These indexes were collected and transcribed by all members of the Society.

            Thanks to Alice Schettler for setting up and contributing the first obits and marriages.   Thanks to  other  members doing considerable work on the obits and marriages are Waydella Hart, Daisy Whithorn and Donna Strickland.

         Thank you to everyone that has helped make the information available to share with others.

    Our collection is housed at the Parsons Public Library, Parsons, KS.     We meet the fourth Thursday of each month in the meeting room at the library.

We do professional genealogical research, charging $10. 00 per hour of research..  We require information including names, location and dates.  The more precise the information is the more quickly information can be located.  We cannot guarantee finding the information you seek, although every effort will be made to do so.  Please send a self-addressed stamped envelope with any inquiry.
