I am seeking information on Floyd Newton IVY and
wife Stella (Estella) and family. They appear in both the 1910 and 20
census in Stafford County. Also a brother, William Sidney IVY, wife Anna
and children. In addition a sister in law; Gertie Punckett and niece

visited there in the late 1940's and remember they were farming although
Sidney may have worked at a lumber yard in St John.
Their father John Hadden Ivy and second wife Nona were
known to be in the area around 1926 and John Hadden may have passed there.
Both he and Nona were returned to Pauls Valley, OK for burial.

LOUEGAY, BALL
Patricia M Strait June 29, 2002
My great-grandfather, William Henry
LOUEGAY,
married
a girl from Ray County, MO, on 05 JAN 1887. Her
name was Louise Kirtley BALL. On their marriage
license it says he is of Stafford County, Kansas. He
graduated from the University of Missouri School
of Medicine in 1882. I assume he was practicing
medicine in St John. Their only child, my grandmother,
was born 06 MAY 1888. I do not know whether
she was born in St John, KS, or at her mother's
home in Richmond, MO. Is there anything in your
old records to indicate that Dr LOUEGAY was practicing
medicine when your county was newly established?
The reason I have homed in on St John in the county
is because that town in on the back of some very
early photographs of my grandmother. I have reason
to believe the three of them left for Denver, CO in the
mid-1890's.
Any information will be greatly appreciated.
