I am seeking information on J. Clay Brewer. He passed away on November 18, 1983 in Lacrosse and is buried in the McCracken City cemetery (1 lot 65). He was blind in one eye as a result of an accidental gun shot when he was about 12 years old. He was born May 10, 1901. His sister, Thelma Wynetta is also buried in the McCracken City Cemetery. He was my half-brother and Thelma my half-sister. Thelma was born April 8, 1903, and died March 4,1919. Their father and mine was Charles Sylvester Brewer. As a child I only knew my half-brother as Clay. He had two full brothers, George and Alca Clark (little Buck). My father Charles, divorced their mother ( Charlotte "Lottie" Robinson) about 1906-8 or thereabouts. Clay, George and Little Buck lived with their grandparents (Charles Wesley & Drucilla Brewer for a time in Olney Springs, Colorado and some time with my Mother (Pearl Akers) and my dad.
