This was on 31 July 1884 and located in the southeast quarter of section 3-24-14. Pickering named the postoffice Juse, for his daughter whose full name was Jerusha. On 15 April 1890 the postoffice was moved about a mile to the west and south to the home of John W. Pace, who became the postmaster. The Juse postoffice was next moved to the home of Wilson S. Goreham, who had just bought some lots in the newly plotted townsite of Keck. Goreham was postmaster from 18 Mav 1894 until 17 June 1895, when the postmaster became George A. Farnum who also lived in the new town of Keck, and on 10 January 1896 the name of the postoffice was changed to Keck, and Farnum became the first postmaster of Keck.
