Mrs. Bertha Adkins of Augusta visited several days last week with Mr. & Mrs. Marlen Cable. Mr. & Mrs. Johnson of Emporia visited the week end with Mrs. Pracht. Misses Doris and Alice Jean Goodwin of Seminole. OK visited last week with Mrs. Marlin Cable and Miss Elfie Adkins. Mrs. Mable Smith and son, who have been in OK for the past several months, returned here to the home of her mother, Mrs. Dave Fritts. Mr. & Mrs. Dale Pracht of St. Louis, visited this week with his grandmother, Mrs. Pracht. Mr. and Mrs. H.H. Riley of McPherson are visiting for a few days with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Claude Tubbs. Mrs. Nora Hart, who has been here the past several weeks helping care for her mother, Mrs. Martha Scott, returned to her home in Owasso, OK. Mr. and Mrs. Glen Fuhlhage of Hamilton visited Sunday with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. Cooper. Quincy Locals Louise Prichard of Fall River visited Lorine Webb last week. H. Moon is visiting at the Gilroy home. The Forest Matlock family of Drumright, OK is visiting at the home of his uncle, Joe Matlock. Rex. Smith and wife left Monday for a two weeks visit with relatives at Desman, Iowa. Mr. and Mrs. Carl James of Rosalia visited Monday and Tuesday with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Johnson. Ruth Johnson returned home with them. Pleasant Grove Twp. Mr. S. C. Sellers of Yates Center spent last week at the home of his son, Dean and family. Maurice Cable spent last week with his cousin, Orville Roberts. Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Huff and Mrs. James Durnberger were in Yates Center Saturday morning on business. Mrs. Merle Murphy left Monday morning for Visalia, California, for a visit with her father, Neil Porter, and her aunt, Mrs. Clark. The Porters and Clark's were old time residents of Eminence Twp., living near Rose. Steve Porter, her granfather, was one of the former Republican War Heroes in Woodson Co. politics.
