She reached the sixty-sixth mile-stone of her journey on earth March 27th. Mrs. Stomp had been sick since January, 1922. Her husband died several months ago. She is survived by her daughter, Miss Helena, and five sons: Herman S., of Kansas City; Hubert, of Placerville, Calif.; George, of Dewey, Okla.; John, of Oxford, Kas.; and Charles, of Garnett. All were here to lay their mother away, at rest, as were two cousins of Mrs. Stomp, Mrs. Mary Schneider and Mrs. Lizzie Sudhoff, of St. Louis. Funeral services were conducted this morning, at Holy Angels church by Rev. Father McInerney. A very large number of friends and neighbors were in attendance to pay their last tribute of love and respect to one they have loved and respected many years. After the services at the church, the body was conveyed to the Garnett cemetery, and there placed beside her husband and her son Joseph, who preceded her in death. A fitting obituary will be published in next week's Review. ----------o----------
