Looking for information about Samuel Anderson who came to what is now Anderson County Kansas from Illinois in 1855. His wife was Esther and they had at least three children Wilson,John and Delilah.Samuel went to the aid of Lawrence Kansas and made two or three forays as captain of the Pottawatomie guards. In the 1860's the family moved to Missouri where Esther died and Samuel married Mary (Swank) Brannock.They had two children, Samuel and James who was my grandfather.I would be interested in any information about Samuel and his family.
