My great grandfather Foster LAMBERT (or James Foster Lambert) left my grandfather and the rest of his family shortly before the beginning of the Great Depression. (Wife Effie Mae Felker-Lambert, son James Foster Lambert and 3-4 other children). The story as it came to me indicates that they were living outside Garnett, KS. Later Foster was known to be living in Kansas City. I have checked the Anderson county records available in Riley and Reno counties but have not come across anything. I do not know any of his ancestors, when he was born or when he died (which I suppose could have been in Missouri). Lambert was my maiden name and I cannot seem to get beyond my grandfather! Any help would be greatly appreciated.
