My grandmother was Julia "Nette" Ricketts. SHe was born in Garnett,K.A.in 1872--died in L.A. probably Shreveport. She was of German decent and I beleave they were farmers. She had 3 brothers and 3 sisters. At age 18 she married William H. Taylor. They had 4 children,Donald Brian (my father) was born 7-13-1896 Inez Taylor Laughlin, born 1900, Hazel Taylor Newman born 1898. All 4 were born in Kansas City, M.O. They moved to Shrevport, L.A. I am hopeing that I can make contact with any one else from the Ricketts line.
