My maiden name was Cunningham. My paternal grandfather may have been born to a man named William Clarence Walrad in Payola (?), KS. I see in the city directory in Garnett for 1912 that a Wm.C. Walrad was listed as a photographer. My understanding from stories is that my ggrandmother Mary Minor was married to Wm. Walrad and also to a Cunningham. I'm not sure if my grandfather was a Walrad or a Cunningham. I see both names listed. My grandfather was born in Joplin, Mo. If anyone as any info to help me straighten out this mystery, I sure would appreciate it. Also, on old family records I have a Sarah Ann McWilliams (Walrad) that died in Garnett, KS on 12-1-1921. If anything sounds familiar please let me know.
