Seeking information about Lemuel Stevenson Wood. He may have been known as LS Wood or as Woods. He was born in Clermont, Ohio which his family settled, in 1891 and died in Sept. 1892. He was a blacksmith and farmer. The Eagle, a weekly newspaper of that time said that it would publish an obit in the next issue of the newspaper. I have been unable to locate it. The promise was made in the Sept. 23, 1892 issue of the paper when it published the death notice. He was buried under the auspices of the GAR according to the Journal another weekly if the time. Lemuel left 4 young children, the youngest one year old.
