I am looking for someone who might know something about CLARK THOMAS RICHARDSON of Garnett, Kansas. He was married to EMMA WOODS. He was a lawyer and ran some sort of paper. They lived in a large house in Garnett and were very well off people. I know Clark was born about 1856 and was not born with the name RICHARDSON but his parents died when he was young and his Grandfather RICHARDSON raised Clark. Emma and Clark had no children. Emma WOODS is the sister of my husbands Great Grandfather, Ulysses Simpson WOODS. I am having trouble locating this WOODS family. Emma and her brothers, Martin, John, Joseph, Ross, and Ulysses were all born in Ohio but some time after the 1870's they moved to either Missouri or Kansas. I know that the RICHARDSON family lived in Garnett almost all Clarks life so maybe the WOODS family were there also.
