The blodgett home is 2 and one half miles southwest of Curlew, near No. 19 district school.

A capable stockman and farmer, Mr. Blodgett was beloved and highly respected by everyone in the Curlew community.

Personal: Good old Frank Blodgett died yesterday, I'm very sorry about that, Frank Blodgett was one of the best natured men in the world. He was a bachelor all his adult life, but we folks on the Globe often pretended he was married, and in print we joked him a great deal about his "wife" and how she henpecked him. It was fiction that he enjoyed and aided and abetted. His neighbors and friends all teased him about his "wife" and the banter he returned with good philosophy. Frank Blodgett was a good sound citizen in all respects. He was a fine neighbor. He was Kind. He wanted to help. During his illness he continued to be jovial. Frank was a plain, honest, unpretentious man, and I liked him and will miss him. G. B.
