Luther G. Blodgett, 93, died Friday evening Nov. 28, 1975 at the Atchison Hospital. Mr Blodgett was born Sept. 8, 1882 in Mount Pleasant township, a son of George M. and Mary Cline Blodgett. He and the former Ella Cummings were married Jan. 5, 1905. They made their home on a farm in the Curlew community until 1957 when they moved to 833 Santa Fe. Mrs Blodgett died June 2, 1963. Mr. Blodgett was a member of Kickapoo Lodge No. 4 AF & AM.

There are no Immediate survivors. Three brothers, Lincoln, Frank and Fred Blodgett and three sisters, Mrs Lovina Lollar, Mrs. Lulu Norris and Mrs. Josephine Ellerman preceded him in death

Funeral services were held Monday Dec. 1, 1975 at the Stanton Chapel with the Rev. George White, pastor of the First Presbyterian church officiating. Burial was in Mt. Vernon cemetery.
