Julius Peuker, proprietor of the Milwaukee House, on Commercial Street, died suddenly and mysteriously yesterday evening, at five o’clock. Dr. Pangle was the attending physician, and immediately after the death Pangle carried off several bottles of medicine. This excited the suspicions of the Germans, and they demanded an inquest. A coroner’s jury was summoned, and it was found that death resulted from dropsy of the heart. The funeral will take place at 2 p.m. tomorrow, fro the Ger M. E. Church.
