Oscar Lindgren Peterson

Born - December 26, 1868. He was born three months after his father's death. The following year his mother married her husband's brother. The family moved West of Wichita, Kansas in 1870 and homesteaded a quarter section. He was deaf from birth and attended school at Beloit, Kansas. He married Atlanta Adams who also attended the same school. He filed a claim in Oklahoma and lived on this farm until his death on Oct. 16, 1943. A few months later she died. Two children were born to this marriage.


Atlanta D. Adams was the daughter of Johnson M. Adams and Elizabeth (Owens) Adams.
