This page was created 6 October 2006.Alvin Leroy Keller, 68, died Wednesday, January 4, 2006 at his home in Sun City. He was born October 15, 1937 at Sun City, Kansas, the son of Lyle Orgal and Erma Lorrean (Shellenberger) Keller. A lifetime resident of Sun City, he was a truck driver. He was a member of The Father's House of Worship, Sun City. He served in the Army Reserves from 1958-1962.On October 4, 1969, he married Verna "Jean" Aldrup at Medicine Lodge.
Survivors include his wife Verna "Jean" Keller, Sun City; two sons, Gary Dean and Kristy Keller, Coats; Ernie and Keri Keller, Sun City; 5 daughters, Tami Wells, Pratt, Carla Walker and Doug, Garrison, TX, Shannon Briles and companion Roger Herd, Medicine Lodge, Vanessa Keller, Medicine Lodge and Tiffany Keller, Sun City; a brother, Lyle and Dorothy Keller, Medicine Lodge; 3 sisters, Phyllis and Warren Sturgeon, Greensburg, Helen and Roy Wiles, Wichita, and Arlene and Donnie Davis, New London, TX, and 14 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son Ricky Leroy Keller.
Funeral Service was held Saturday, January 7 at Our Father's House of Worship, Sun City with Rev. Deitra Black officiating.
Burial was in Sunnyside Cemetery, Sun City.
