A. A. Denton died at the home of Thomas Warwick in this city on Monday night. The immediate cause of his death was heart trouble though he had been afflicted for several months with dropsy. He was not bedfast and fell dead while out of the house. He died about 10 o'clock.Mr. Denton has no family. He lived with Mr. Warwick during the past year. Prior to that time he lived alone near the sugar mill. He took much interest in growing sorghum and did much to get the government to make experiments and encourage its growth. Funeral services were held yesterday. The deceased was 64 years of age.
