Alvin S. Prouse, 90, died June 4, 1999, at Medicine Lodge.He was born Nov. 7, 1908, at Medicine Lodge.
He was born Nov. 7, 1908, at Anthony, the son of Herbert S. and Ollie Hughbanks Prouse. A longtime, Attica resident, moving to Anthony in March 1998, he was a retired farmer and stockman.
He was a deacon at Attica Christian Church for many years before transferring his membership to Anthony Christian Church in 1998.
On Oct. 5. 1931, he married Evelyn Daniels at Iola. She survives.
Other survivors include: a son, Larry, Anthony; a daughter, Louise Crain, Brookings, S. D.; five grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Ervin and Harold.
Funeral services were held Monday, June 7, 1999, at Williams Funeral Home, Anthony. Burial was in Forest Park Cemetery.
