CHARLEY GOOD DIED TUESDAY

Charley Good, prosperous farmer living in the Elm Mills community, died in the community Hospital at Pratt about noon on Tuesday from gunshot wounds, self-inflicted. The gun used was a 12 gauge shotgun, and the load passed entirely through his body.

Mr. Good, who has been in poor health since about August 1st. of last year, had become very despondent over his condition and this is believed by relatives and friends to be the cause of his act. A brother who had been making his home with him for the past several months had stepped out of the doors for a few minutes, and on his return found Mr. Good had shot himself. A doctor and ambulance were called from Pratt and he was taken to the hospital where he died a few hours after reaching there.

No inquest was held and the body was brought to Medicine Lodge to await burial. At the time of going to press funeral arrangements had not been made.
