Mrs. C. J. Strain died early Wednesday morning from the effects of a paralytic stroke which came last week.Mrs. Strain was past seventy five years of age and one of the pioneer settlers of this county. She is survived by her husband and a number of other relatives.
In response to a message last week her son Ed Strain and her daughter, Mrs. Bessie Anderson and daughter, and her grandson, Monroe Strain, all of Colorado, came Saturday to be with her. Mr. and Mrs. Ross Lovelace here and Mr. and Mrs. W. L. Strain and son, of Danville, Ill., were also and daughter from Lahoma, Okla., who are the nieces and nephews of the deceased.
