Doris Esther Long, 78, died Feb. 21, 1997, at Medicine Lodge Memorial Hospital.She was born March 17, 1918, in Kingman County, the daughter of Carl F. and Edna A. (Willits) Griem. A life time resident of Medicine Lodge, she was a homemaker and bookkeeper.
She was a member of First Christian Church, and a life member of the VFW Auxiliary, both at Medicine Lodge.
On Jun 29, 1940, she married Norman R. Long, in Medicine Lodge. He died Dec 4, 1988.
Survivors include: a son, James N. Long, Sand Springs, Okla.; a daughter, Vickie McDonald, Medicine Lodge; a brother, Lewis Griem, Pratt; a brother-in-law, Grant Long, Medicine Lodge; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
