Again has death saddened another Medicine Lodge home. Helen, the 7-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. F. Bucher, passed away Sunday morning at eleven o'clock. The little child had been in very poor health since birth having been stricken with infantile paralysis at the age of four months. She was born on October 30, 1907; died Sunday morning, December 20, 1914, aged 7 years, 1 month and 20 days. The little form was taken to Stafford, Kansas, Monday morning and funeral services were held from the home of Mrs. Bucher's parents, Mr. and Mrs. LaRue, yesterday afternoon.Mr. and Mrs. Bucher have been citizens of Medicine Lodge about eighteen months and in their sad misfortune, deepest sympathy is extended. Charlie, a younger child than Helen survives.
