Homer Hastings

Our hearts were all made sad when word was received that Homer Hastings had passed away at St. Francis hospital at 7:30 o'clock Monday, January 28. His brothers George and Oliver Blankenship had left for Wichita Saturday, January 26 and were at his bedside. Internal erysipelas was the cause of his death. The body lay in state at the home east of Sun City Tuesday, February 4, awaiting the arrival of a sister, Mrs. Emma Rolen of California. A brother, Nove Hastings, arrived Thursday, January 31. Interment was made in Sun City cemetery.
