Barber County Kansas

Jacob Horn died at his home in Wichita, March 17, at the age of 83 years. He was a veteran of the Civil War and at one time was a member of the G.A.R. Post in this city. He was an old Barber County settler, but has lived in Wichita for the past eight years. Uncle Jake had many warm friends in Barber County who regret to hear of his death. He lived a useful life and was deservingly respected by all who knew him.
