Jerry G. McGuire

Jerry G. McGuire, age 63, Medicine Lodge, died Friday, September 23, 2005 at Via Christi Regional Medical Center - St. Francis Campus, Wichita.

He was born January 19, 1942 at Nashville, Kansas, the son of S. Homer and Eugenia Alice (Fisher) McGuire.

On July 30, 2001 he married Carole Taylor-Bolin at Hill City, SD.

He served in the National Guard and was a member of the Medicine Lodge Golf Course. He was a farmer/rancher, and worked in the oilfield as a dozer operator for many years.

He is survived by his wife, Carole McGuire, Medicine Lodge; two sons, Jeff McGuire and his wife, Julie, Wellington, Kansas, Colin McGuire and his wife, Liz, Wichita, Kansas; two stepsons Steve Bolin and his wife Lori, Burlington, CO and Shawn Bolin, and his wife Carla, Eads, CO; two stepdaughters, Jill McGuire and her husband Scott, Sharon, Kansas; and Jamie Rucker and her husband, Dusty, Sharon, KS; fourteen grandchildren, Rachel, Jeffery, Tyler, Trammer, Abbie, Jacob, A.J., Levi, Dakota, Daityn, Jaci, Cambry, Darby and Talia.

Funeral was held on Tuesday, September 27, at Larrison Funeral Home, Medicine Lodge with Pastor Tom Walters officiating. Burial was in Highland Cemetery, Medicine Lodge.

Memorials may be made to Medicine Lodge Golf Course in care of the funeral home.
