Louise W. Bloom

Louise W. Bloom, 101, died Wednesday, February 13, 2008 at Medicine Lodge Memorial Hospital in Medicine Lodge, Kansas. She was born June 26, 1906 in Medicine Lodge, KS, the daughter of Fredrick "Fred" and Florence (Williams) Wadsworth. A lifetime resident of Medicine Lodge, Kansas she was a Homemaker and a Teacher. She attended Southwestern College in Winfield, KS. She was a member of the United Methodist Church, Medicine Lodge, Lorraine Chapter Order of the Eastern Star, and D.A.R.

On July 24, 1932 she married Glenn L. Bloom at Medicine Lodge, he died Sept. 30, 1999.

She is survived by two sons Dean Bloom and Wilma of Medicine Lodge, KS, Charles Bloom and Mary of Leawood, KS, two daughters Betty Buell of Medicine Lodge, KS, and Marie Hanson and Alan of Pratt. 11 Grandchildren and 15 Great Grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers Virgil and Albert Wadsworth, a sister Mildred Murray and a granddaughter Laurie Bloom, and a son-in-law Vernon Buell.

Memorial Service will be 3:00 p.m. Thurs. Feb. 21, 2008 at United Methodist Church, Medicine Lodge with Pastor Frank DeFisher Presiding.

Private Burial was held in Highland Cemetery, Medicine Lodge
