On Tuesday, April 3d, Mrs. James Hale in the 49th year of her age.Mrs. Hale has long been an invalid, slowly wasting away with the dread and fatal disease, consumption, but though her death was nor unexpected, it brought to the family the same profound sorrow. The death bed scene was said to have been very affecting.
The remains were taken to Lake City, and buried on Tuesday. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Elliott, of the M. E. church, of which denomination Mrs. Hale was an exemplary and devoted member.
