"Oliver W. Owens died at age 16. He worked for the Rockefeller Ranch. I will have to check my files as there is a story of his death that I don't exactly recall - something about his having pneumnoia, the doctor lancing his throat and that he bled to death." - Kim Fowles.

"Oliver W. Owens was the son of Molie Rathbone Owens (2nd wife to Rev. C.W. Owens). It is interesting to note that although Oliver W. Owens went by Owens, we don't believe he was the son of C.W. Owens. He was born in West Virginia AFTER C.W. Owens & daughters came west. Later, Molie Rathbone came West and married C.W. Owens. The Rathbones & Owens were both from Wirt County, West Virginia." -- Kim Fowles
