Stanley L. Johnston, 37, of Isabel, Ks., died April 11, 1985, in a car accident at the Ellis-Rush county line on Highway 183. He was born September 29, 1947, in Colby, Ks., to Stanley L. (Bud) and Betty M. Drumright. He was an employee of Gallaugher Well Service in Isabel, and a Navy veteran of the Vietnam War.

Survivors include his father, Stanley (Bud) Drumright of Denver, Colo.; mother and step-father, Betty and Howard Johnston of Hays, Ks.; son, Eric, and daughter, Lisa Johnston of Portland, Ore.; grandmother, Mollie Peterson, Lyons, Ks.; brothers, Wayne Johnston, Ellis, Ks., and Don Johnston, Mulvane Ks.; sisters Marie Simmons and Ruth Johnston, both of Lyons, Ks.; Hope Myers, Langhorn Penn., and Donita Johnston of Hays, Ks.
