Turelda H. Hoffer

Turelda H. Hoffer, 92, of Bradenton, Florida, died on September 29, 2007 at Tidewell Hospice.

Born on January 1, 1915 in California, she was educated at Newton (Kansas) College and obtained her certification of Registered Nurse (R.N.) at St. Rose Hospital in Great Bend, Kansas. She subsequently served the Kansas University Medical Center as head nurse in the obstetrics and gynecology department and later served as the office nurse for Dr. John Hoffer, M.D., at his medical office quarters at Medicine Lodge Memorial Hospital. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Olin and Myron and a sister, Esther.

She is survived by her husband John G. Hoffer, M.D., and a son John G. Hoffer and daughter Virginia Weber and six grandchildren.
